Don’t ever use this service UNLESS YOU WANT THE BEST TREK OF YOUR LIFE
I accidentally ended up in a group of strangers who all shared the same crazy idea: trekking to Annapurna Base Camp in February 2026. Turns out, it was one of the best “accidents” of my life.
From the moment I landed at Kathmandu airport, Santosh, Shraban, and the whole team made everything feel warm, easy, and surprisingly fun. They took care of everything, making sure we were safe, well-fed, and strong enough to actually make it to ABC (which is no joke).
Their hospitality really touched me. You can feel it’s genuine and from the heart. I’m not an influencer or anything, but I would still recommend them to all my friends without hesitation. The trek was absolutely worth it.
Looking back on the journey, I feel both proud and very grateful, especially to the porter and guide team. Honestly, even with our tips, it still doesn’t feel enough for the effort and care they gave us.
A special thanks to Shraban and Ganga. I even left my beloved gloves for Ganga as a small gift - a tiny token compared to everything you all did for us.
Wishing the whole team good health so you can continue giving amazing experiences to other trekkers.
And yes, I’ll definitely be back with The Nepal Trekking Company for my next adventure in Nepal. With their care, you really couldn’t ask for more.

Just finished the Annapurna Base Camp trek with The Nepal Trekking Company and had a really great experience. Everything was well organized from start to finish. We were also lucky with the weather, which made the views along the trail even more incredible.
Our guide Shraban took great care of the group the whole time — always checking on everyone and making sure things ran smoothly. Our porter was also very friendly and helpful, and we really appreciated his support during the trek.
Overall it was a fantastic trip and I’m very glad we chose this company. I’d happily trek with them again on my next trip to Nepal.

Managing a large group of 12 is no easy feat, but the company handled everything perfectly. A huge shoutout to Santosh, the CEO, who was like a "24/7 concierge" on WhatsApp. No matter the time, he was always ready to answer our questions with complete transparency. Best of all? The pricing was incredibly reasonable and fair – no hidden costs, just pure honesty.
🥘 Food High Up in the Clouds
Don't worry about going hungry on the trail! The food was surprisingly delicious. From the classic energy-boosting Dal Bhat to Pizza, Spaghetti, Fried Rice, and even Korean dishes – the menu was so diverse we almost forgot we were trekking at 4,000m!

Our team of guides and porters were the heart of this trip. They were so attentive that even after reaching the destination, they would hike back down just to help us carry our gear.
I want to give a special, heartfelt thanks to Shraban, our Guide Leader. When my legs were aching and I was struggling, Shraban was right there, patiently bandaging my feet and applying pain relief spray. His dedication and care were the main reasons I was able to reach the finish line.
Every single one of our 12 members left feeling happy and satisfied. This was a trip of a lifetime that I will cherish forever. Thank you, The Nepal Trekking Company, for making our ABC dream come true so perfectly!

My wife and I (ages 75 and 67) just completed our second trek with them. We also trekked with them two years ago, and they treated us so well that we enthusiastically signed up with them for a second trek. Santosh (the owner of the company), Suraz (our guide), and Ganga (our porter) took excellent care of us and were very attentive to our needs, ensuring our comfort and safety.
This time, we chose the "Jomsom Muktinath Trek from Ghorepani and Poon Hill," and it was the trip of a lifetime. We saw the forested mountain vistas of the Ghorepani area, as well as the Tibetan Buddhist cultural sites of the arid Lower Mustang area. Santosh worked with us in advance to modify this trek so that we could spend extra time in the areas that interested us the most. Also, during the trek, Suraz and Ganga assessed our strength and modified the trek as necessary. Each day, they listened to our priorities and made sure that we saw the things most important to us.
Suraz and Ganga were informative, answering all our questions, and pointing out things we otherwise would have missed. For example, they spotted some yaks in the distance and led us on a cross-country hike through the desert hills to get close look.

This was my first Solo Hike which I chose a 13-day trip that included day tour and ABC trek. I am so grateful and lucky because I met a great company and friendly peoples.
From the moment I confirmed this trip, all my questions and concerns to all arrangements were made through contacting Mr. Santosh. Not only did he give me great guidance, but I really chose to believe that he would make good arrangements for me. Of course, in the end, I completed the entire trip, and nothing disappointed me. Moreover, the surprise treatment was beyond my expectations, which really made me feel that I paid a worthwhile fee.
Mr. Suraj is my tour guide. Not only does he carefully take care of my three meals a day, but he also cares about me from time to time if there is anything I need in particular. I didn't rush into the daily schedule and followed my own pace, which made me enjoy the hike. Besides, he is really my best partner during hiking. He not only helped me a lot but also took a lot of beautiful photos and videos for me.

This was my third time using Santosh’s service in 16 years. From the warm greeting up at the airport to the final departure Santosh was there every step of the way organising our Lang Tang Valley trek, helping us with any and all questions, even helping us to organise a side trip to Bhutan (which took no time at all to organise at the last minute). Santosh and his team have years of experience in the touring and trekking industry and you will feel 100% at ease in Santosh’s safe hands. Nothing is too much trouble for him and his amazing team. From the moment we wanted to start organising our trip (over 10months before), Santosh was extremely responsive and provided many options for our time before and after our LangTang Valley trek.
From the very clear itinerary provided before we even left Australia, to greeting us at the airport and taking us to our hotel, Santosh and team were there whenever we had any questions or queries.
When we departed for our trek, and made the drive to Syfraubesi, we stopped at numerous places for the best ever "wow" moments, something pictures would never be able to convey accurately.
On the day we left and for the following day, Santosh (our guide) and Suraj (our porter) made this the most memorable trip. So many laughs along the way, as well as being given in-depth knowledge and appreciation for LangTang National Park and Nepalese culture.
Each stop was enriching of our souls, and while some of the days were rough, Santosh and Suraj never stopped keeping our spirits up. Each day helped us feel more and more accomplished. Nothing was ever a problem or issue for our team, and this is down to the amazing customer- focused service from Santosh and Suraj.
After our track concluded (amazing 5 days), we sat and reminisced about our favourite parts of our trek and had a cold beer together to cheers our accomplishments.
Our drive back to Kathmandu and the service continued to be provided by Santosh allowing us to continue enjoying our holiday in Nepal (and expertly helped us with a booking to Bhutan).
Could not recommend Santosh and Nepal Trekking Company any higher (but if I could give 10 stars, it still wouldn't be enough).

An Unforgettable Trek to Annapurna Base Camp
My father and I decided to visit Nepal this year. Among the many companies you can choose from to get the best guide and experience, we were definitely the luckiest to choose these guys. The whole communication before we arrived, the trek itself, and the service around it were just pure perfection. Santosh picked us up at the super busy Kathmandu airport and explained everything. Then it was entirely up to Suraj (our guide) and Konga (our porter). They were super experienced guys who made the trek enjoyable, safe, and mostly fun. We were very lucky with the weather, which certainly helped. In the end, we had some spare time to explore Kathmandu. Santosh immediately offered his help, so we met Kumar (our city guide), who showed us all the temples and briefly explained the history of Nepal. The farewell dinner was just the cherry on top. We will never forget this trip, and hopefully, we will get back for another trek one day.
